Neck Problems

I was referred to Wellspring Chiropractic from a friend who told me about the great results she had gotten with them. I was having constant neck pain with headaches almost daily! I had done physical therapy and medical doctors with little help. They said that I had tight muscles in my neck and I need to stretch. I did what they said but it didn't work. I felt I needed more help so I took my friends advice and called Dr. Joshua Dorsey at Wellspring Chiropractic and they got me in immediately for an appointment.

During the first visit I explained to Dr. Dorsey everything that was going on. He was convinced that I lost my neck curve do to the time I spend at the computer and that poor posture made my neck hurt and caused my headaches. He did and exam and took x-rays and asked me to come back the next day to review the results.  I came back the next day and he showed me that I had subluxations in my neck. I didn't know what a subluxation was. Dr. Dorsey explained that a subluxation was misalignments to my spine. The cool thing was is that i could see them also on the x-ray. Since then I have been coming for 7 months now and my headaches and neck problems are better. Thanks Dr. Dorsey

Neck and Hand Problems

I have had many chiropractors in the past for different problems I was having with my back. This time I found a great one. I came to Wellspring Chiropractic for neck pain and pins and needles in both hands. I am in my late 20's and I knew that i shouldn't be feeling this way at my young age. So I came to see Dr. Joshua Dorsey. His office was prompt to respond when i walked in. I was greeted with a smile and they explained there process of being a new patient. I filled out some paperwork and then was brought back by Dr. Dorsey for an exam. The first thing he noticed was my FHP. FHP stands for forward head posture. Dr. Dorsey said that it is the most common and most damaging posture. I did realize I had poor posture but not FHP. He pointed out that the hump between my shoulders is due to FHP and is not supposed to be there.

He did an exam and took x-rays. He asked me to return the next day to go over the findings. He showed me the x-rays and the subluxations. He said my FHP was from subluxations in my neck. Dr. Dorsey explained that the FHP is putting pressure on my nerves in my neck and causing the pins and needles into the hands.  He also explained that this condition would take about 10-12 months to fix. I have been a patient for 6 months and I feel great and my FHP is improving!! Thanks Dr. Dorsey
